Competition Structure

Two comprehensive rounds testing different business skills

Global Grand Test (Individual)

Duration: 150 minutes
Format: 300 multiple-choice questions
Focus: Business knowledge and literacy
Purpose: Qualification round for International Final

Tests core business theories, methodologies, and fundamental understanding of business concepts. Also acts as the qualification round for the International Final.

International Final (Team)

Material-Based Exam: Multiple choice questions based on provided materials
Case Presentation: Video format submission
Focus: Problem-solving and strategic communication
Format: Entirely online - virtual tests and video presentations

Advanced business case analysis requiring teamwork, strategic thinking, and presentation skills. The final round consists of two modules conducted entirely online.

Important Note

All modules are conducted ONLINE. The test is a virtual test and the presentation is submitted in video format.

School Team Awards in the Global Grand Test

Starting in {YEAR}, we are introducing a new international recognition system for schools and institutions that organize their students to participate in the Global Grand Test.

Recognition Recipients

This recognition will be given to the school, the advisors, and the top 6 students representing their school.

Eligibility

Schools and institutions with 6 or more students participating in the Global Round are eligible for School Team Awards

Scoring System

Team scores are calculated using the top 6 students' scores from each school

International Rankings

The top 30 schools worldwide will receive internationally ranked awards

Who can participate in the {YEAR} IBO

Student Status

Students enrolled in high school/secondary/pre-collegiate education at time of competition and must be graduating in the next year or after

Registration Process

Schools/institutions submit Organization Registration Form; Individual students submit Student Registration Form

Ineligible Participants

Fresh graduates, gap year students, and college students are not eligible to participate
